Antique Print, Universal Magazine, Newtonian Technical Drawings, 18th Century Book Page- Engraving (AR-A065)
***TRAVEL anywhere without leaving your house. I’ve collected souvenir shirts, art and objects from many great tourist destinations throughout the world. Most I’ve only visited vicariously through that item.***
This extremely rare plate is likely from the mid 1700s. It is an engraving plate from the Universal Magazine. It depicts Illustrations of Newtonian Attraction & Repulsion; and of the Nature of Properties of Electricity. It was engraved for J. Hinton in Newgate Street. There are a series of technical drawings of mechanical and electrical things that I do not understand. Great for framing, assemblage, collage art, scrapbooking, college or school reports, research, home decor. I believe this is an original and not a reproduction.
Condition: Some creases are present and a rips as shone in the photos. There are some pencil marks from past antique stores.
Approx Size - 7" x 4"
Great for framing, assemblage, collage art, scrapbooking, college or school reports, research, home decor.
