Vintage 1960s Planet Solar System Bank, PLAN-IT Bank, Metal and Acrylic (HG-A079)
This unique bank is from the 1960s. It it called PLAN-IT bank. Get it? Plan it? Plan your vacation. Plan your retirement. The metal center of the Universe is the SUN. There is a slot to stash your cash. I do not have the key. Surrounding the sun are the planets in orbit. The piece stands on little tripod feet.

Pat No 189789Condition - It is a heavy piece and stunning to look at. It has some scuffs on the planets that are kind of a rubbery material. 2 of the rubber covers for the feet are missing but that doesn't cause it to wobble.
I don't know if it can be used as a bank without a key, however this is a great addition to a bank collection, an astronomy and curiosity collector.
